Melinda Hardy, Board of Assessment Appeals

It has been my honor to serve the people of Burlington for the last twelve years, ten in the capacity of Chair, on the Board of Assessment Appeals. I realize that not everyone is satisfied by the decisions the Board makes as a whole, but we have always tried our best to be impartial in our considerations. It is important the Chair of this Board have a strong knowledge of Connecticut assessment practices, and a sense of equity in their application. I believe that my experience is an asset to the Board and to the taxpayers of Burlington.
