Colleen Magnus, Board of Education
Colleen Magnus is excited to be seeking a seat on the Region 10 Board of Education. She has a BS in Business from Boston College and a MS in English Education from Columbia University Teachers College. After a few years in the business sector, she taught middle school in New York, NY and Greenwich, CT.

Most recently, Colleen has focused on volunteer work. In Burlington, she has been an active member of the Lake Garda PTA, co-chairing the Drama Club committee for 6 years, school picnic for 5 years, and Publishing House for 3 years. At Har-Bur Middle School, she helped to start the new Drama Club in 2010. She is a Girl Scout leader; a weekly volunteer at Foodshare in Bloomfield, CT; and has been a proud “Team Mom” for football, soccer, and lacrosse in Region 10.
Colleen and her husband Burke have lived in Burlington since 1999. They have 2 children at Har-Bur Middle School.
