I am an attorney who concentrates my practice on real estate law. In my first term on the Planning & Zoning Commission, I have been able to use my knowledge of real estate and zoning laws to help the board render decisions on the applications before us.

I am a lifelong resident of Connecticut. I grew up in Southington, and graduated from Central Connecticut State University and Quinnipiac University School of Law. I practiced law in Cheshire for approximately five years. I am now the owner of Chenette Law Offices LLC in Southington and Burlington. My law practice concentrates in real estate and contract law. I have been involved in thousands of real estate transactions in my years in practice, which has provided me with exposure to many issues and considerations that surround zoning laws. I have considerable knowledge about real estate and zoning law, and the ability to thoroughly research any issues the commission may be called to act on.
I live in Burlington with my wife, town native Kristen Turick Chenette, and our son Owen. We are enjoying establishing our family in Burlington and becoming a part of the community. One of the things we admire about Burlington is how it has continued to grow and prosper, while still maintaining the small town character that drew many of us to move here.
Burlington will continue to grow. It is the responsibility of the elected officials to make sure that growth happens in a way that benefits town residents and the town tax rolls without losing the look and feel of this established community. I want to be part of the administration that continues to attract businesses to that area and provide the goods and services that residents want in an accessible and attractive way.
I look forward to continuing to serve my hometown and use my knowledge of real estate law as a member of the Burlington Planning & Zoning Commission, and ask for your support on November 8th.
