Food & Fuel Drive Success!

PRESS RELEASE ###

First Selectman Kathy Zabel accepts a bag of canned goods from State Comptroller Nancy Wyman who, along with Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, made an unexpected stop and donations at the Democratic Town Committee’s Food and Fuel Bank drive on Saturday, October 31st at Town Hall. Over 50 bags of food and over $100 dollars of cash were collected to be used by deserving residents of Burlington.


What a great day for Burlington!

We collected bag after bag of non-perishable can goods as well as cash donations for the food and fuel bank today at Town Hall.

Much to our surprise State Comptroller Nancy Wyman and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal arrived unexpectedly and made a donation to the food bank!

Thanks to everyone who donated, worked and supported this important effort!


ORIGINAL NOTICE OF FOOD AND FUEL DRIVE
The Burlington Democratic Town Committee will be collecting non-perishible food items for the Burlington Food Bank on Saturday, October 31st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Hall.

Please drop off your donations by driving up!

You can also make a monetary donation to the Burlington Fuel Bank at the same time. Make checks payable to the Burlington Fuel Bank.

If you are unable to make the drop off time you may mail your donation to P.O. Box 1368, Burlington, CT 06013
